Brilliant royal blues, a few marbled with veins of gray white calcite. Sold per strand 15 16" long, about 77 beads per strand. Lapis is also known as Lapis Lazuli. The mineral lazurite is the main component of lapis and accounts for the stones intense blue color. Lapis is a metamorphic rock and may also contain pyrite, calcite, sodalite, and hauyne.
